How to prove that both Vedanta and Christian Science are false teachings

 Table of Contents

Vedanta, unlike Christian Science, does not focus on spiritual healing, but it is part of the philosophy.  Hindu gurus say that by using Vedanta you can heal the sick, not eat, raise the dead, and materialize and dematerialize matter with your mind (here and here).  We know from repeated evidence that Christian Science is false.  How?  Because in all these 150 years, no recorded miracle has ever taken place in the church. No one has been healed from incurable diseases and no one has been risen from the dead. The same can be said for Vedanta.

According to Hinduism, if you follow Hindu practices, you would be able to accomplish the following supernatural feats:

  • Aṇimā: the ability to reduce one's body to the size of an atom.
  • Mahimā: the ability to expand one's body to an infinitely large size.
  • Laghimā: the ability to become weightless or lighter than air.
  • Garimā: the ability to become heavy or dense.
  • Prāpti: the ability to realize whatever one desires.
  • Prākāmya: the ability to access any place in the world.
  • Īśiṭva: the ability to control all material elements or natural forces.
  • Vaśiṭva: the ability to force influence upon anyone.

Why has not one person ever been recorded accomplishing any of these?  In the era of video recording it has never been captured on camera despite Hindu gurus swearing that these abilities are possible?  The reason why we have never seen any of these things is because they don't exist and are impossible. How do we prove Hinduism is false?  By the fact that its methods don't yield results.  Vedanta is very complicated and Hindus will say many things to convince you of its reality, items you may not be able to easily refute, but the proof of the pudding is in the tasting, and Hinduism doesn't even have any pudding, they have nothing, no results, and this can be used against them.
