I found the article in The Skeptic (Volume 7, Number 1) I was looking for on how the Christian Science Church (and Hinduism) misrepresents quantum physics to try to prove their religion is science. The article is entitled "Christian Science and the perversion of quantum physics" by Robert L. Miller. The most important take-away from the article is that objects do exist whether they are observed by life or not, something contradictory to both Christian Science and likely Vedanta. The article mentions Christian Science's relationship to Easter religions. There has been much desire to debunk Christian Science, but less to debunk Vedanta's connection to quantum physics, which is done (here and here).
